How do I unlock my program?

After you have purchased your program. Click Help, Registration and fill in the registration information. After filling in the registation information, click Request Registration Code. This will trigger an email to us. We will reply back with a Registration Code. Enter the Registration Code in the Registration Code box and click the Unlock button. If successful, your Verison Status will go from "Demo" to "Full".

Can I auto start the logging?

Yes. If you save your configuration with logging turned on for one or more groups, it will automatically start logging the next time you start the OPC Data Logger.

How Do I upgrade my program?

If the major version number is the same (example 1.01 to 1.02 or 1.30), then you can simply download the update and install it on top of the existing version. Make sure the OPC Logger is not open when installing. If the major version number is different (example 1.10 to 2.00), then you will need to purchase an upgrade to move to the new version.

Which OPC Servers does the OPC Data Logger work with?

The OPC Data Logger will work with any 1.0 and 2.0 compliant servers. The Item browsing will only work with 2.0 compliant servers. For 1.0 servers you will have to add the items by item id.

What file types does it support?

Currently the OPC Data Logger only saves .csv files. It does save it in several different formats depending on how you have your group settings defined. See the OPC Data Logger manual for more information on various file formats.
